Project Coordinator from the side of TSTU V.E. Podolsky spoke on "The virtual learning environment as a basis of a hybrid international educational space."

The coordination meeting summed up the project for three years, the results of the project (electronic and paper manuals, leaflets project) were distributed between all participants. Questions addressing student mobility and the development of the project were discussed.

At the events the questions of placing prepared training materials for automation and mechatronics in the international educational space and hybrid activity of students when working with electronic resources were discussed, and much attention has been paid to the testing of remote labs that have been developed in the framework of the project using the project equipment purchased.

Questions were raised on the regional workshops on Mechatronics at the Universities. The questions of advertising and promotion of the project and its development were discussed.

The seminar was attended by students, faculty and staff of our University; specialists of Tambov enterprizes; representatives of the KUKA Robotics company, who made presentations:

• History and development of the KUKA Robotics company;
• KUKA Robotics company products and services;
• Educational software from KUKA Robotics;
• Fields of applications of KUKA Robotics company products;
• Features of welding production robotics.

The seminar was attended by the school teachers and senior pupils from Tambov and Tambov region, TSTU teachers.

• History of the development of mechatronics and robotics.
• Prospects for mechatronics and robotics in the Russian Federation and the Tambov region.

2. Ph.D. Savenkov A.P. made a report on "Areas of TSTU cooperation in "Mechatronics and Robotics with educational institutions of Tambov region"

3. The graduate student Marina Deryabina shared experiences of the study and the defence of the graduation project in mechatronics at the Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria) within the TEMPUS project.

The meeting analyzed the development and implementation of joint master's programs in Russian and Ukrainian universities; the meeting with the graduate 2nd year students of Novosibirsk State Technical University, Saratov State Technical University named after Y.A. Gagarin , who are currently undergoing training at the Technical University of Liberec took place. Students shared their experiences, focusing on the practical orientation of European training and possibility to perform laboratory work in laboratories equipped with modern mechatronic devices.

Also the questions of implementation of a quality assurance system in the directions of Master Automation / Mechatronics in universities and regional workshops on Mechatronics were discussed. The questions of training materials development, their publication and dissemination, issues of further development of the project were discussed.

From 15 to 29 of October at the University School of Masters the seminars on implementation of the quality plan "Guidelines for Quality Assurance of Masters Training in the Field of Study 221000.68 "Mechatronics and Robotics" were held in the framework of the international project TEMPUS "EU-PC Double Degree Master Program in Automation / Mechatronic (MPAM )".

The seminars were opened by the University acting rector S.I. Dvoretsky. Lectures were delivered by Professor of the "Quality Control and Certification" department S.V. Ponomarev.

On September 24 a regional seminar was held with the teachers of the regional pilot sites on Robotics. "Prospects of educational robotics and legodesign development in children additional education". The seminar was attended by representatives of the Tambov State Technical University faculty , specialists of the Regional Institute for Education Specialists Advanced Training, responsibles for the development of robotics in educational institutions of Tambov Region( administrative staff, supervising the direction of robotics , teachers, implementing the program in robotics , tutors ) teachers of secondary schools, teachers and methodologists of children additional education.

In the new academic year the first set (10 students) of the bachelor in the field of study 221000 - Mechatronics and Robotics was carried out. Graduates may in the future study a Masters degree in the same direction of the master's program " Mechatronic Systems" in our University and the master's program "Mechatronics" in a European university (Sofia Technical University, Bulgaria or the Technical University of Liberec , Czech Republic) according to the jointly developed by these universities curricula. Education in a European university lasts one semester. Successfully defended his thesis projects developed under the guidance of domestic and European universities supervisors, the graduate receives two diplomas!

On August 22-23 in Tambov on the basis of the Camp "Solnechny" the III International Innovation Camp was held. The main objective was the development of scientific and technical work to identify and support talented young people - the inventors, innovators, entrepreneurs, creative individuals in order to create a modern personnel reserve .

The camp was attended by 191 people, including representatives of businesses, universities and colleges of the Tambov region, school children, representatives of banks, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as representatives of foreign states. The innovation camp was attended by all undergraduate and graduate students of the training areas "Mechatronics and Robotics", together with their teachers and the head of the Department "Quality Control and Certification" A.G. Divin.

There were two main areas in the camp: education and design innovation. Education in the camp was carried out on educational grounds, which include the following: lectures on the development of scientific and technical creativity and thought, modern efficient long-term forecasting methodology of scientific- technological and social development - Foresight, a business game "I want to be a businessman," education in programming and creation of robots, as well as seminars on team building, marketing.

Educational platform «IT- technology and innovation" moderator Alexander Pavlov represented the robotics school Robopartans ( Bulgaria) . He taught the participants the creation of robots for example Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0. kit. 5 teams were formed that have designed their robots and created programs for their control. As a result of the educational platform «IT- technology and innovation " there were defined three best teams which presented their projects at the robotics competition "Development of engineering thought." There were presented the robot sorter, which, depending on the color of the objects distributed them in two baskets ; robot crab, bringing a cup of coffee , a robot to perform various actions by the sound of varying intensity . In the work of this platform students of group MMP -21 , A.E. Postnikov, M.A. Deryabina, A.S. Savchishkina took part

The "Crabs" command with their robot won the first place and received a diploma and a cup. All participants received certificates confirming their participation in the International Innovation Camp. In addition, the winners of the competitions were also awarded with certificates and cups.

On July 31 - August 2 at the Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria ) hosted the 4th Coordination Meeting on the project, which presented the results of the monitoring report of the European Commission on the implementation of the project.

At the developed working versions of joint training plans and work programs of the disciplines for masters in automation and mechatronics, draft Guidelines for technology teaching students " Two diplomas ", were presented. The work on the signing of partnership agreements on cooperation between the Russian / Ukrainian and European universities were summed up, a plan of seminars to ensure the quality of educational processes in view of the European experience in Russian and Ukrainian universities was mapped out.

Much attention was paid to the discussion of the development of the international educational space and hybrid learning space and preparing of Russian and Ukrainian the 2nd year undergraduates in Automation / Mechatronics to continue their studies at European universities in the new academic year.

On November 5-9, representatives of the university took part in the 2nd Conference and the 3rd Coordination Meeting on Joint TEMPUS project, which took place at the National Technical University "Kharkov Polytechnic Institute".

Coordination meeting was devoted to summarizing the project for the year. Project Coordinator V.E. Podolskiy TGTU presented the results of the project as a whole and described the activities undertaken in preparation for the acquisition of the new equipment for a grant for the digital library and resource learning center for masters in mechatronics.

Head of the "Quality Management and Certification" department Ponomarev S.V. made a presentation on the draft of the manual “The system to ensure the quality of learning”, based on the European experience.

Much attention was paid to the concept of an international hybrid learning space.

From 26 to 27 September 2012 a seminar of Working Group 3 (WG3) responsible for design of Quality Assurance System for Double Degree Master Program on Automation/Mechatronics was held at Zhytomyr State Technological University.

During the seminar main approaches to Quality Assurance System for Master Programs of European Universities (Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic, Blaise Pascal University, France and Technical University Sofia, Bulgaria) were discussed; main requirements to Quality Assurance Guideline for Double Degree Master Program on Automation/Mechatronics were determined.

On June 4-5, 2012 three important events of Tempus project EU-PC Double Degree Master Program in Automation/Mechatronics (MPAM) took place at Saratov State Technical University named after Yu. A. Gagarin:

• The second coordinating meeting;
• Workshop of WG responsible for Programs and Curriculum development and harmonization among universities participating in the project;
• Summer School on Mechatronics for academic staff and students of universities participating in the project.

In the framework of the visit to SSTU Sergey V. Mishchenko, Rector of Tambov State Technical University, participated in the second coordinating meeting of the MPAM project.

The realization of the abovementioned activities enabled to increase the educational and methodological level of Summer School participants taking part in the project realization; to come to an agreement on the main principles for modernization of study plans; to focus on creating the conditions for Russian and Ukrainian students to continue education in the Technical University of Sofia and the Technical University of Liberec; to plan the following project activities.

All participants had the opportunity to take part in International Congress on Information & Communication Technologies ICIT-2012, which was held in SSTU.

On 17-20 January, 2012, Tambov State Technical University took part in the coordinating conference within the Tempus Project “EU-PC Double Degree Master Program in Automation / Mechatronics”. The conference was held at National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI".

Representatives of Technical University of Liberec (Czech Republic) together with their partners from the universities that participate in the project (Technical University Sofia, Bulgaria; Blaise Pascal University, France; Novosibirsk State Technical University, RF; Saint-Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI", RF; Saratov State Technical University, RF; Tambov State Technical University, RF; National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI",Ukraine; National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, Ukraine; Sevastopol National Technical University,Ukraine; Zhytomyr State Technological University, Ukraine), as well as representatives of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and National Tempus Office in Ukraine discussed draft curriculum of the Double Degree Master Program in Automation/Mechatronics and project implementation issues (academic mobility, establishment of Quality Assurance System based on EU universities experience, development of International Hybrid Learning Space (IHLS)).

At Tambov State Technical University the project is realized by the Chair “Quality Management and Certification”.
